Nope been a Magic fan since '92 (from Winter Haven) just happen to be living in Boston, pay my $200 every year to watch them on league pass, but you can't be serious to think any of these guys are a part of the future here. The #1 pick barely gets garbage time anymore. And anyone of you that think BBD is an asset to have on this team is insane. I would much rather have this team focus on the young players and reduce the minutes of BBD, Turk, and others and let Harkless & Nicholson have an increased role. At this point what differnence would it make?

Never said anything about them being part of the Magics future, just that they were not crappy like you said and their contracts are not bad either by NBA starter standards. Regarding BBD, I must be insane. His contract is not bad and he good trade bait.

I do feel Nelson could retire a Magic man and would have no problem with that.

I don't get why people act like any NBA player getting more than two or three million that isn't a superstar is automatically overpaid and worthless in a trade. A player like Afflalo can be moved on his deal, because he is actually a quality player. He isn't on a Rashard Lewis or Gilbert Arenas albatross contract.

Hedo and Harrington are the guys on the roster with inflated contracts that are tough to move. But both deals become partially guaranteed soon, so it isn't as bad as it looks at face value.

I don't that or the fact that he says Nelson BBD and AA are all crappy players. Thats why I thought he might be a pissed off Celtics fan. You know maybe his is hoping Magic would trade Nelson and AA to them or something. Oh and I think Hedo is impossible to move at this point unless someone signs that former GM of the Magic real soon before the trade deadline.

People are also quick to overlook the fact that Turk and Harrington's contracts could become assets next season. Hennigan might be willing to take on a contract from another team with a pick in exchange for Turk's partially guaranteed contract at the deadline.

These guys are all much better when there is a true go to go on the team, just be patient we might get that guy as soon as next years draft (maybe this even).
