Ryan is neat dude. Loved his game. Just can't build around him.

Exactly. Like I said, it wouldn't work in our current situation, but it would have been cool to have him around for a while.

Ryan is an ancillary part. Probably could be 3-4th best player on a contender. But that is really his ceiling. It was a good move. Also we might hit a streak ourselves here. Our schedule is brutal after the next 2.

Thats the way I felt too looking at the rest of schedule.... I knew we had a good shot at building on some wins because our schedule wasnt too bad, playing against like teams.

The second half...... yea.

A top ten defense and great record vs sub-500 teams before Davis goes down are both signs of a playoff team.

This three game losing streak of games winnable in the final seconds without our co-leading scorer and most aggressive/talented big does not give good reason for you to brag about calling fans who thought this team at full strength could contend for the playoffs delusional.

I'm just concerned about the extremely difficult stretch of games looming (after we play the Wizard tomorrow). For the next two weeks we have games against the Heat, Knicks, Bulls, Clippers, Trailblazers, and Nuggets. With the exception of the Trailblazers, we are talking about a seriously difficult couple of weeks. Also, it doesn't help that in the last 7 minutes of last night's game, we dropped only a single field goal. That, and allowing Lopez and Vazquez to play like All Stars is a little disturbing. Trying to stay optimistic, though. If we can net a few wins during that stretch, then we might be able to stay relevant going forward.

Glad to hear Ryan got the welcome he deserved.

These losses to not so good/tired teams lately show the importance of Big Baby. And how bad we can be at closing games out.

Definitely.... Robin needed to be bounced around a little to throw his shot off. Nikola doesnt have that body to bang and still go hard, neither does Gus. I have been wondering if Kyle could feel in that need while Glen is out... he was a bruiser in Norfolk

I was thinking the same thing last night. Would've been nice to see Kyle get a shot at slowing Lopez down. Especially after it became apparent that nobody else on the floor could.
