Jajuan Johnson was the 21st pick in the draft last year by the Celtics. He never really got a chance for the Celtics but played well in the few minutes he played. He was a great scorer, rebounder, and defender in college when he played with Etwaun Moore at Purdue. He was Big Ten player of the year, defensive player of the year, and all-American his senior year. Doc Rivers doesn't give rookies many minutes no matter how good they are. You have seen Avery Bradleys improvement after his rookie season because he got minutes, Etwaun Moore is playing great this year because he is getting minutes, I believe the same will happen with Johnson. Johnson can be a good scorer immediately because he has a great mid range jump shot and is super athletic, he can also be a great scorer in the future. He already has good chemistry with Moore and he will play really hard to prove himself. He will be a better scorer and defender than Mcroberts. The magic should give this young man a chance before another team beats them to it.
